When looking at skin home remedies, there are quite a few interesting natural remedies one can try on the skin.

Ever tried honey for acne as a home remedy?

Or maybe apple cider vinegar as a home remedy for a clear complexion?

There are a variety of things people have done and had great success with, so hopefully you will find something here that works for you.

Remember that these are HOME remedies for skin care and with many natural remedies, you have to give it a week or two before seeing real results.

The BEAUTY of using natural cures for skin care is that it is just that… natural care… so you won’t harm your skin by trying these remedies, like you can by using medicated creams and skin care products.

How To Get Clear Skin Home Remedies

Mineral water for face… use mineral water when washing your face instead of just regular water.
Honey for skin…apply honey to wherever you want your skin to be clear. With a cotton swab or it’s actually easier to just use your fingers, apply the honey to your skin, leave it on for about half an hour and then wash off. Honey leaves your skin feeling soft and refreshed…. and leaves you with a soft sweet smelling skin as well!
Milk for skin care… the easiest way to use milk for skin care, is to simply wash your face with milk on a regular basis. Some ladies have reported that their skin got very nice and soft and their wrinkles disappeared after washing their skin with milk!

Try some of these great skin home remedies face masks.
Sour milk and oatmeal…to bleach your freckles and pigmented skin spots. Mix a paste of half a cup of sour milk and a tsp of oatmeal (may take a little bit more, but enough oatmeal to make a paste). You can either apply it directly to your face or spread the mixture between two sheets of cheesecloth and then lay the cheesecloth on your face. Leave the paste on your face for half an hour to an hour, then wash with warm water.
Cottage cheese mask for skin Mix equal parts of cottage cheese, olive oil, milk and carrot juice to make a natural skin care mask. Use as you would any other skin care mask. Leave on for awhile and then wash off with warm water and pat dry.
Potatoes for skin..cook and mash two medium sized potatoes. Leave the skins on. Add a few drops of lemon juice and a bit of water, enough to make it smooth enough to spread on your face. Put the potato mask on your face for about twenty minutes, then remove and rinse with warm water, and pat dry.
Cucumber mask for skin.. run a cucumber through the blender and add a few drops of lemon juice to make a cucumber mask. Apply to face for about half an hour then rinse with warm water.
(Lemon is known to be a great cleanser for skin and is in many popular skin home remedies.) Drink a glass of warm water with half a lemon, every morning. Drinking lemon water has many benefits and clearing up the skin is one of them.
Olive oil for skin… mix extra virgin olive oil with a few drops of lemon juice and really massage your face as you apply it to your face. Rinse off the oil with a skin toner.
Homemade Sugar Scrub…Mix two T. sugar with enough lemon juice to make a nice paste. Stir well. You can use this sugar scrub on your face, hands and anywhere you want to for a cleansing scrub. This article has been viewed 13 time(s).
